Dear Valued Customer,

It’s officially October, which means that CEC’s annual Business Technology Conference is just around the corner. BTC is one way that we like to share our passion for technology by offering you free education to support your technology and business decisions. Our 2015 events will be held in Iowa on Oct. 13 at the Coralville Marriott, and in Wisconsin on Oct. 28 at Lambeau Field. Join us for:

An "About CEC" breakfast, offered due to customer requests, where our team will share key information about CEC and how to better work with a systems integrator.

One of my favorite keynotes, Jesus M. Villahermosa Jr., founder of Crisis Reality Training. Jesus will make sure your company and staff are ready for workplace violence threats with his valuable guidelines and tips for incorporating technology into your plans.

An expanded Convergence Corner and Technology Showcase, where CEC technical teams showcase even more integrated technology solutions.

And don’t miss our education sessions, which give you key information that you can bring back to your organization. Registration is still open for both events at www.btciowa.com and www.btcwisconsin.com.

We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.

Project Profile: National Czech & Slovack Museum

CEC eliminated the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library’s standard batwinged conference phone system and integrated a quality AV conferencing solution to eliminate audio interference and background noise.

Green Bay Office Expansion & Relocation

Our Green Bay office moved to a new address: 2200 American Blvd, De Pere, WI 54115. This office relocation stems from CEC’s need to accommodate a growth in demand for AV, fire, security, life safety, IT, and healthcare communications solutions and services in Wisconsin. Our new space keeps us in the heart of Green Bay, making it easy for you to access.

Amika Mobile Receives Top Honors at ASIS 2015

Amika Mobility Server (AMS), an integrated emergency critical communication and control solution, was recently recognized by ASIS 2015 with two awards: Judge’s Choice and Accolades of Security’s Best. AMS, available from CEC, simplifies administration of an IoT physical security communications platform. To learn more, attend our upcoming Business Technology Conference: We’re offering live demonstrations of it in action.

CEC Explains Why Better Cabling = Better Business

By replicating a BICSI classroom environment in-house, CEC now offers its own training to technicians about the proper methods and best practices for installing data, voice, and video cabling. Our installers and technicians are becoming BICSI-certified cable installers, ensuring that you get the cabling infrastructure you’ll need to support current and future technology.
