Expanding CEC’s Presence in the Construction Market: Meet Mike Servais

For more than two decades, Mike Servais has been building his knowledge in fire and security. He began his journey as an installer with A&A Fire and Security in 1996 (the company was later acquired by CEC in 2010).

These skills helped him move up the ladder quickly. He transitioned to a technician role and focused on servicing, testing, and repairing intrusion, video, and access control technology. This experience led him to pursue project management so he could use his field expertise to manage technicians and projects. After performing well in that role, Servais was promoted once again to installation manager, overseeing a product installation team.

A move to Arizona in 2007 took him to a different technology integration firm where he managed several large-scale projects (including Arizona State University) before returning to Wisconsin in 2015 to join CEC.

Since then, he has served as our Wisconsin operations manager, director of operations for safety and security, and general manager of fire and security. Recently, he took on a new role: applying his fire and security skills to help CEC expand its construction division.
