The explosion of wireless devices has changed the campus network more than anything else in the last decade. As a result, the release of a new frequency by the FCC is exciting news. As of last fall, a new standard called CBRS is now approved for commercial deployment. Troy McDermott and Garrett Chumbley will be presenting information on this new technology, how it will connect both LTE users and IoT equipment, and how it will relate to existing Wi-Fi and LTE networks.
