All Saints Catholic Church

When All Saints Catholic Church started its capital campaign for building improvements and additions, one of the goals was to enhance and improve the sound. Due to the architectural design of the sanctuary, there were dead spaces that made it difficult for parishioners to hear in certain parts of the sanctuary. The church was also struggling with the quality of the existing sound system.

All Saints Catholic Church and CEC worked together with Design Engineers in Cedar Rapids, IA, to come up with options to improve the sound and audio systems within the sanctuary as part of the church’s capital campaign. After working with CEC, All Saints Catholic Church now has:

  • Improved sound in the sanctuary space so parishioners of all ages and abilities can clearly hear.
  • Sound that extends into the narthex so people using that area can hear what is going on inside the sanctuary. This also improved the seamlessness of the processions that are sometimes part of Mass. Previously, the church was using a portable sound system as part of the procession.
  • The ability to record audio and incorporate that capability into a main mixer.
  • Elimination of dead spaces throughout the sanctuary, making it easy for parishioners to hear no matter where they’re seated.
