Customer Needs

AWG uses camera surveillance and notifications, security systems, video analytics, and more to improve warehouse efficiency, mitigate safety concerns, and reduce theft risks. After running into frequent issues with outdated equipment, downtime, costly device replacements, and coordinating invoicing and administrative tasks between multiple manufacturers, AWG was looking for a holistic service agreement solution that could help increase uptime and efficiency while reducing capital expenditures.

SOLUTION

AWG called on CEC to assess all of its sites and come up with a holistic solution. Our team took to the drawing board and built a comprehensive service agreement that addressed all of AWG’s pain points, defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for each of the client’s needs based on the urgency and criticality of its devices.

Our all-encompassing service agreement includes:

System outage support and repairs
Device maintenance for cameras, security systems, and video analytics
Dedicated server agents for faster troubleshooting and fixes
Annual preventative maintenance for all sites and devices (updates, software, device cleaning)
Administrative, budget, and planning assistance

CEC has helped AWG lower capital expenditures, reducing the need for costly device replacements with preventative maintenance, extended device battery life, and increased repair capabilities. We also added internal resources at AWG to assist with administrative, budgeting, and planning needs, helping the client move away from its previous individualized manufacturer model to bulk devices together and achieve more cost-effective pricing.

With a more streamlined manufacturer strategy and serviceable, high-uptime surveillance devices in place, we’ve helped AWG more accurately track member inventory, increase employee satisfaction, and mitigate theft, cybersecurity, workplace violence, and warehouse safety risks, leading to considerable savings in time and money.
