Serving the Eastern Iowa area since 2000, Rogers Concrete Construction (also known as Rogers Ready Mix) is recognized for its work on new commercial and residential projects, as well as additions, tear-outs, and renovation work.
With locations in Anamosa and Marion, the company provides concrete work for foundations, garage floors, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks.
Customer Needs
Rogers Concrete Construction had been using analog radios for years, but the handheld devices were outdated and sound quality suffered. The company was ready to move to a digital system to improve clarity.
Although each of the company’s 25 trucks is equipped with a two-way radio, drivers aren’t always able to answer if they’re busy or focused on something else. To improve communication between drivers and office personnel, staff members also wanted to explore GPS-integration options.
After comparing quotes from several different two-way solutions providers, Rogers Concrete Construction decided to partner with CEC to complete its radio-upgrade project.
